| New John Deere museum John Deere, with a grant from the State of Illinois, will open a new John
Deere Collector's Center in Moline. It will include a reproduction of a 1950s John Deere
dealership, with a restoration of vintage equipment in progress.
The grant from the Illinois Tourism Attractin Development program
is for nearly one million dollars. John Deere will spend over one million dollars in
addition.
John Deere has also come out with a new logo, but The Green Girl
may have something to say about that in her upcoming column.
